JoFäB! Intercooler upgrade Gen 3 Mk7 Gti / R / S3 / 1.8T 2.0T

We are happy to announce the release of our intercooler for Gen 3 MQB vehicles. Comes with couplers and required clamps for an easy install.

Any tuned MQB vehicles that is going to be driven hard will utimately heat soak during repeated wide open throttle (WOT) sessions because of the factory intercooler inability to cool down the hot air coming out of the turbo. This modification will drastically help to decrease the intake temperatures (IAT) on wide open throttle.

Not all intercoolers are created equal, since we chose a tube & fin core, it will be ideal for daily driving, track applications and spirited daily driving since it dissipates the heat much better, compared to the bar and plate which is best for drag or short races since it takes longer to heatsoak, but once it is soaked is very hard to cool down. On top of the better cooling capabilities, it is also lighter than a bar and plate setup.
